Meet the Pelvic Floor Specialist Behind Your Care

I am a Board-Certified Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist with extensive experience treating both men and women for pelvic floor conditions. At previous jobs, I faced challenges in providing optimal care due to the constraints of the typical medical model. I know I’m not alone in saying this, which is why I started my own practice to serve individuals more intentionally.

At Pelvic Wellness, we aim to use a holistic, compassionate approach to patient care. We don’t believe in generic symptom-alleviation programs, and we don’t rush you out the door to see the next patient. Instead, we strive to provide individualized care that empowers you to achieve long-term wellness and a better quality of life.

In addition to my clinical experience, I have 4 years of experience as a Professor in the physical therapy program at Rockhurst University, where I taught pelvic floor therapy to PT students, along with other topics. This academic background has deepened my understanding and ability to educate both patients and future therapists about pelvic health.

As a pelvic floor therapist married to a urologist, I bring a unique and comprehensive understanding of pelvic health to my practice. This dynamic partnership allows me to integrate deeper insights into pelvic symptoms, ensuring you receive care that truly goes beyond the standard approach.

I look forward to meeting you and being a part of your healing journey!

Visceral Manipulation

Mercier Therapy in Omaha for Fertility & Pelvic Health

Mercier Therapy is a specialized form of visceral pelvic manipulation that helps improve organ mobility, increase blood flow, and support the overall health and function of the pelvic organs.

This hands-on manual therapy addresses soft-tissue and visceral (uterine and ovarian) restrictions in the abdomen, hips, and spine. It is non-invasive, all external, and gentle.

Mercier Therapy was created by Dr. Jennifer Mercier, a naturopath and midwife, to optimize health and well-being within the pelvis by addressing scar tissue and decreased mobility of the reproductive structures.

It is beneficial for anyone facing fertility challenges, pelvic pain and dysfunction, gynecologic surgery recovery, or those with a history of C-section or traumatic birth experiences.

Dr. Nicole at Pelvic Wellness is the only Certified Mercier Therapist in Nebraska.
